​Method & Services

When working with clients, I like to break things down into simple steps through a 
THINK > PLAN > DO methodology (more detail on that below).

It's also super important to have crystal clear communication with clients, so from the offset I introduce a simple working guide & offer a free project management tool.

My services are flexible to reflect the skill sets, budgets and requirements of my clients. I typically work on longer term projects, starting off will small commitments until I gain the clients' trust and build the relationship from there.

THINK > PLAN > DO

THINK > PLAN > DO  is a methodology of working not dissimilar to the Kaizen approach, but with a far friendlier ring to it! It’s a process of breaking things down and creating continuous improvement based on the idea that small, ongoing positive changes reap significant wins.
​THINK
The first step is to THINK outside the box, the strategic part to the process, listing of all the weird and wonderful ideas we have and getting them down on paper. Its a time to step back from everything and to understand the marketing needs of the business right now... not the needs of the business when you launched!
 
​PLAN
From here, we PLAN and this is the important part, and the area where I typically add most value. I help you build an achievable PLAN based on the ideas we generated above. The key elements here part being twofold:

1. Planning within the box, making a plan you are confident we can deliver. I typically work with you to break down all tasks into manageable 15 minute tasks. No more "write a blog post". More; a) List 5 blog ideas b) Flesh out top 2 c) Select favourite and gather 3 useful supporting articles. etc etc. 

2. Project Management; I typically introduce a free project management tool to my relationships. Here we can collaborate and list out our plan, assigning achievable tasks to the team. This allows us to keep track of everything that is happening and centralise our working. 
 
DO
Finally we have DO. The business end of the process. At this stage you, me or your wider team will implement the actions set out. For some clients, I do 90% of the actions, others it's closer to 10%. If I am not doing the task myself, I do still offer support and guidance, should you have any questions.


​How it works.

No one client is the same, with skill sets & time constraints varying from one to the other. To reflect that, I offer flexibility when it comes to my services. 

Typically, I will always go through the THINK > PLAN > DO process with my clients, but I scale my time in each area to meet their need. 

For example, one client of mine has a board full of strategic thinkers, so my main task is to coordinate everyone, centralise the ideas and strategy, keep track of developments and DO the work. In contrast, I have clients who have plenty of time and energy to market themselves, but lack the marketing knowledge and holistic strategy to do so! 


In short, I am flexible.
